Excellent food and service. Prices are similar to other restaurants of this high quality; in fact, they are a little less expensive than other high quality restaurants! I highly recommend Silvio's to friends and colleagues.
This was our second visit to Silvio's in two weeks. Their menu is extensive and the dining room is a really comfortable place, with a lively bar next door. You can go for pizza or appetizers or do a complete multi-course dinner. Portions are very generous--the pasta entrees easily serve two. First visit we enjoyed bruchetta, the veal chop special served with superb roast veggies and a lovely fresh sautee of peppers and onions, and the teenager had angel hair and sausage. Wine pours are generous and service is attentive. They remembered us when we came back. Ambiance is good old fashioned Italian American from the 50s and 60s--complete with Sinatra and Perry Como on the soundtrack. Plenty of free parking but arrive early on weekends--locals know this is the real deal and the banquet hall gets good play for parties.
I had a pasta dish with sausage and meatballs. The food was good and considering the portion size and price I rate this restaurant a good value. I would definitely recommend it.
I had the Veal stuffed with mozzarella & prosciutto, it was out of this world! The portions were huge. Everything from the greeting when we walked in the door until the moment we left was a great experience. We were there for a while drinking our wine and talking, we never once felt rushed. I will definitely be back... Maybe this weekend :)
Food and service was exceptionally good, however, the hospitality was incomparable. We were welcomed as if we had entered the home of the proprieters and treated as if we were family. We came to this restaurant as "strangers" and left as old and dear friends. I cannot speak highly enough about the experience we had at Silvio's except to say that we will always consider this restaurant as one of the best we have ever visited and will continue to visit this restaurant.
